Stores Contracts - Types 

Rate Contacts - features:

• Supply materials on demand, irrespective of quantity 

• Supplying the materials during the period of currency of the Contract 

 

• Fixed unit rates  

 

• Quantity and consignee are not identified / specified. 

 

• As and when required the materials, the Stores officers can place the Orders against the Rate contracts without the full procurement procedure.  

 

• Thus saves a lot of time in the routine purchase work. 

• Can be extended, even after supplying the full quantity. 

Running Contracts - features: 

• These are similar to Rate Contracts except the Quantity. 

• Specified quantity - with a percentage of tolerance either way 

 

• Supplying the materials during the period of currency of the Contract  

 

• Fixed unit rates     

 

• Can be extended, even after supplying the full quantity. 

• Consignee is identified 

Fixed Quantity Contracts - features: 

 

• All terms and conditions including price, consignee and the quantity are identified at the first stage itself. Hence they are specific. 

 

• Thus lack the flexibility of Rate & Running Contracts.

 

• Entirely different from the Rate & Running Contracts 

• Definite quantity  (in one or more installments) 

 

• Supplying the materials by a definite date 

 

• At the agreed rates. 

 

• After supplying the full quantity as per Delivery Date, Extension is not possible.

संपर्क रेटिंग - विशेषताएं:

• अनुबंध की अवधि के दौरान सामग्री की आपूर्ति करना।

 

• निश्चित इकाई दरें

 

• मात्रा और प्राप्तकर्ता की पहचान/निर्दिष्टता नहीं दी गई है।

 

• सामग्री की आवश्यकता पड़ने पर, स्टोर अधिकारी पूरी खरीद प्रक्रिया के बिना ही दर अनुबंधों के तहत ऑर्डर दे सकते हैं।

 

• इस प्रकार नियमित खरीदारी के काम में काफी समय की बचत होती है।

• पूरी मात्रा की आपूर्ति के बाद भी इसे बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

रनिंग कॉन्ट्रैक्ट्स - विशेषताएं:

• ये मात्रा को छोड़कर दर अनुबंधों के समान हैं।

• निर्धारित मात्रा - कुछ प्रतिशत की छूट के साथ।

 

• अनुबंध की अवधि के दौरान सामग्री की आपूर्ति करना।

 

• निश्चित इकाई दरें

 

• पूरी मात्रा की आपूर्ति के बाद भी इसे बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

• माल प्राप्तकर्ता की पहचान हो गई है

निश्चित मात्रा अनुबंध - विशेषताएं:

 

• मूल्य, प्राप्तकर्ता और मात्रा सहित सभी नियम और शर्तें पहले चरण में ही निर्धारित कर दी जाती हैं। इसलिए वे विशिष्ट होती हैं।

 

• इस प्रकार, दर और संचालन अनुबंधों में लचीलेपन की कमी होती है।

 

• रेट और रनिंग कॉन्ट्रैक्ट्स से पूरी तरह अलग

• निश्चित मात्रा (एक या अधिक किस्तों में)

 

• सामग्री की आपूर्ति एक निश्चित तिथि तक करना।

 

• निर्धारित दरों पर।

 

• डिलीवरी की तारीख के अनुसार पूरी मात्रा की आपूर्ति हो जाने के बाद, डिलीवरी की तारीख बढ़ाना संभव नहीं है।
