Notes:

1. Ministerial staff - Excludes: CLA - Company Law Assistants, Stenographers, General Assistants, School staff, Canteen staff (wherever applicable)

2. Zonal Railways Headquarters staff - Includes: Staff of all Depts working in Zonal Hqrs as well as staff of all units such as Central Hospitals, Schools, Training Centres etc. whose cadre maintained at the Zonal Hqrs. 

3. In case of less than 3000 staff in Zonal Headquarters / Production Units & 10000 staff in Divisions / Workshops, the number of staff will remain as 109 in Zonal Railways / PUs and 94 in Divisions / Workshops respectively. 

4. Excess posts: To be reviewed, surrendered, or redistributed via HRMS - Human Resources Management System in FY 2025-26

5. Clarification/Query/Reference: Shall be made to MPP Directorate (Man Power Planning)
