  • UMID stands for Unique Medical IDentity card 

  • Object: Uniformity in the Medical Identity cards issued to Railway Beneficiaries 

  • Software Developed  & Maintenance by:  SCR 

  • Generated for entire IR : By SCR 

  • Through UMID App / Website - One can generate and take print of UMID card duly entering the credentials.

  1. Plastic based card  

  2. Size: Same as Debit card/Credit card issued by the Banks 

  3. Unique All India Number  - 12 Digits

  4. Separate cards - Employees/Pensioners and their dependants 

  5.  Integration with IPAS, ARPAN & HMIS
