Purpose / Objective
To strengthen domain-specific expertise in revenue & expenditure audits.
To improve audit quality of Central Government finances.
To reduce fragmentation by consolidating over 4,000 audit officers under specialised cadres.
Effective from 1 January 2026.
Additional Points
Officers will be liable for all-India transfers.
Will lead to better manpower management & reduced dependence on deployment.

केंद्र सरकार के वित्तीय ऑडिट की गुणवत्ता बढ़ाना।
विभाजित ऑडिट व्यवस्था को समाप्त कर 4,000 से अधिक ऑडिट अधिकारियों का एकीकरण।
प्रभावी तिथि: 1 जनवरी 2026।

अधिकारियों को सर्व-भारतीय सेवा स्थानांतरण लागू होगा।
मानव संसाधन प्रबंधन अधिक लचीला होगा।
