SEARCH - HOW TO FIND ARTICLES IN THE BLOG

Time is a  precious thing.  So one should not waste much time for searching itself.  Rather than they can use the same time for preparation of the examination.

Here are the two kinds of search in this blog.

First method 

Top Left side - Search box.  You can type the key words to find the article/short notes/answer/information in the Blog.  Example:  If you wish to find an article for CONCOR, type key word "CONCOR"

Second method

Right side - Labels ( key words of articles) are arranged alphabetically.  By clicking the selected label, you can find the desired article.

Example : To find Important questions, go for Labels which are arranged in alphabetically and find the label "IMPORTANT QUESTIONS (2)" and click there. (2) means Two posts on Important questions available/up;oaded in the Blog.

Project Utkrisht

 

Project Utkrisht

•  Under this Project, IR is upgrading the passenger coaches of identified rakes with passenger-friendly amenities and modern features.

• This Project is providing facilities for ICF type Coaches 

• The first train under Project Utkrish is Kalka Mail (12311/12312) HWH-Howrah - KLK- Kalka on 02.10.2018 on the auspicious occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.    

  

• Initiated in 2018-19. 66 pairs of trains (140 rakes)  

 

• Railways have plans to develop 640 Utkrisht rakes as part of the up-gradation of its mail/express trains in the next two years at a cost of Rs 400 crore.

 

• The approximate cost is Rs. 60 Lakhs per Rake. 

 

• Utkrisht R Rakes.  R stands for refurbished. 

• Salient features of the Newly upgraded Rakes are as follows: 

1. Vinyl wrapping of the doorway and gangway along with a big size mirror.  

2. Provision of Fire extinguishers 

3. Swachhata logo and stickers

4. New color scheme

5. Bottle holder, new ladders, GreenGo stickers 

6. Ceiling fan in Non AC Sleeper coach painted with White color. 

7. Braille signage and night glow stickers

8. LED panel lighting in AC Coaches. 

9. “Swachh Rail Toilet” (SRT) - A Hybrid Design Bio Toilet innovated by Indian Railway has been fitted in all coaches, giving an odorless experience.

10. Big size mirrors and dustbins

11. Stainless steel paneling - inside the pantry car

12. New stainless steel utensils in the Pantry car

13. USB charging points
