“NanheFaristey” Identifying and rescuing children
“Amanat” - : Many passengers forget to take all their belongings in a rush to board the train or leave the train/station. Under this operation RPF personnel help in securing such belongings and restore them to the rightful owner.
“Jeevan Raksha” - There are incidents wherein passengers in hurry try to board/de-board a moving train, slip and fall with the risk of coming under the wheels of the train. There are other instances where people under distress try to commit suicide by deliberately coming in front of a running train. Under this operation RPF personnel risking their own lives tries to rescue the lives of others.
‘Rail Suraksha’ - Protection & Security of Railway Property.
‘Yatri Suraksha’ - Security and safe travel of passengers through the railways.
Operation“Mahila Suraksha”: Safety and security to lady passengers travelling alone or with minors by long distance trains.
7. Operation “SEWA”: Assists the elderly citizens, women, physically disabled and sick/injured persons in their travel through trains and services associated therewith i.e.providing other amenities like Wheelchairs, Stretcher, medical help, providing ambulance, medicine and infant food etc.
8. “Satark” - Recovery of Tobacco product, liquor product, recovery of FICN/Unaccounted gold/unaccounted cash/Unaccounted other precious metal/ smuggle goods/ Arms & Ammunitions/ explosives and recovery of banned medicines.
9. “NARCOS” - Drive against smuggling of Narcotics through railways.
10. “Matrishakti” - Help pregnant women who go into labor during their train journeys. 11. Uplabdh - Intensive and continuous action against persons involved in touting (unauthorised carrying on of business of procuring & supply of railway tickets).
12. ‘SamayPalan’ - Maintenance of punctuality of trains and to curb the menace of unauthorized chain pulling and other obstructions in the movement of trains.
13. ‘Jan Jagaran’ - Awareness programs for railway passengers and railway users are made by distributing leaflets, pasting stickers, performing nukkad nataks, publicity through print media, electronic media & social media and announcements through PA - Public Address systems.
14. ‘Sanraksha’ - Action is being taken against the criminals involved in pelting stones on the moving train, carrying inflammable or crackers in the train etc.
15. ‘AAHT (Action against Human Trafficking)’ - Fight against Human Trafficking.
16. ‘Vyavashtha’: Establishing Law & Order on certain special occasions i.e. Kumbh Mela, other Melas/fairs, Rail Roko & other agitation, RRB exam/other recruitments etc.
17. ‘Janaadesh’ - Ensuring free and fair elections and to stop any unfortunate incidents during assembly/parliamentary elections.
18. ‘Bhoomi’: Assists the sister departments of Railways in clearing the railway land from illegal encroachment.
19. ‘Sahyog’ - Provide assistance in conducting special drives i.e. ticket checking, drives at unmanned Level Crossing gates, drives to enforce COVID protocol and assistance for cleanliness drives to the concerned departments of railways.
20. ‘Dusra’ - Action against the menace of unauthorized hawking and vending in Railway premises and in trains.
21. ‘WILEP’: Stringent action against smuggling of Wildlife, animal parts and forest products.
22. ‘Rail Prahari’ - Acts as sentinels (soldiers) on rail and helps state police/law enforcing agencies in detection of serious cases reported from the respective areas under this operation.
23. ‘Saathi’ - Several community outreach programmes are planned particularly in areas adjacent to railway tracks engaging them in employment. Proper training has been conceptualized for them associating PSUs through their Social Responsibility forums.
24. ‘Dignity’ - Rescue of adults including women in need of care and protection who were found run away, abandoned, drug addict, destitute, kidnapped, left behind, missing, medical assistance, fallen down and are mentally disordered.
